SPICY YELLOW DAHL | Excellent Side Dish!

A spicy Yellow Dahl side dish. You can use any yellow dahl for this recipe but I’m using yellow mung dahl for its unique flavour.

Ingredients | Serves –
• 4 cups Water
• 1 cup Yellow Mung Dahl (these are the inside of dried mung beans)
• 2 tbsp Oil
• 5 Cloves
• 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
• 4 chopped Garlic Cloves
• 3 chopped Green Chillies
• 1 tsp Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric
• 3/4 1 tsp Salt
• 1/3 – 1/2 cup Water
• small handful Coriander Leaves
• 2 small Pickled Gherkins chopped

Serve in a small quantity with any accompaniment.
